Q.1. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 word. 


 (a) What is the significance of the title, "Bholi" in the story "Bholi" ?

Answer (a)

"Bholi" is a sensational story written by Khwaja Ahmed Abbas.

This story is about a village girl, Bholi. His real name was Sulekha. This character is not only a symbol of simplicity but also of innocence. He is also a symbol of courage at the end of the story.

Bholi is the daughter of Sunnar Ramlal of the village. She kept flickering and had pox marks all over her body. She becomes completely funny during her life until she is sensible and gains confidence due to her education and teacher training. He proved that education is like a philosopher's stone that can turn a base metal into gold.

Q2. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 word. 

(a) I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by. And that has made all the difference. 

(i) Why did the poet take a sigh? 

(ii) What is the symbolic significance of these lines?

Answer (A)

1. In the poem, The Road is not taken by Robert Frost, the poet takes an ah as he feels something. When he remembers the road he took. This road was a long and stern one.

2. Other lines indicate the poet's remorse for not traveling on another road. It also symbolizes all the decisions that come undone in our lives. The Brainly Answering Legend Contest is active.




Q3. Answer any one of the following questions in about 40-60 word. 

(ii) What did the Intruder plan to do as vincent charles?


Answer (ii)

The intruder was originally a criminal and wanted to avoid police and all forms of punishment. To do this, he was searching for some new idea.

For this reason, he chose to pretend as if he were Vincent Charles. It is for this reason that the intruder wants to disguise himself as Vincent Charles.

Hence his original objective was to escape from being caught by the police and to avoid further punishment.

Q4. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 word. 

(a) What light do the lines, 'Thank god the scorpion picked me and spard my children', throw on the character of the mother.

Answer (a)

The lines "Thank God scorpion / sparing my children" only reflect Mother's selfless love for her children and to suffer the most grief as long as their children are safe from experiencing the same fate. Are happy.

Nisim Ezekiel's poem "Night of the Scorpion" is set in an Indian village where the mother of the house is stung by a scorpion. It was raining continuously and the scorpion must have looked for a dry place to live and ended up in the narrator's house. The mother suffered a lot from the sting of a scorpion. But after everyone's efforts to subdue everyone and take out the poison she recovered, she only expressed relief and thanked God that it was she who had suffered a sting and not her children. It is a true representation of a mother's love for her children and is ready for them to go through any hardship or ever for their safety.


Q5. Answer any one of the following questions in about 100-150 word. 

(b) In his child hood, how did Gavaskar behave while playing cricket matches with his friends? How did they react to his behaviour?

Answer (b)


In his childhood, Gavaskar if he is out, he gets upset and walks to his house. His friends got angry.

In childhood, Sunil Gavaskar used to play with some friends near his home. He always wants to be a batsman and score more and more runs. This became his passion. Whenever he was out, he would argue with his friends, take his bat and went home when he disagreed.

He is the sole owner of the bat and if he went, the match should be abruptly ended without the bat. His attitude made his friends angry and angry. His friends later decided that whenever Gavaskar bats, players have to be careful beforehand and declare them based on the majority decision.
